Hello again! Just popping in with a few shop updates and to let everyone know that for the most part we are still here, busy as bees just working on dollhouse miniatures, embroideries and other nifty stuff. My workroom shelves are a silly happy place these days. I need to get better organized! A job for a rainy day perhaps.
For the past two weeks I've been rolling out more miniature fabric bolts, the fourth restock for the MeadowSweet WorkShop. These have been popular and are fun to make, but they take a fair amount of time when done in large batches like this. It feels good to have them packaged up in tidy little bundles and ready to go. Approximately, 228 individual bolts to be exact!
With the bundles done, I'm turning back to this project again, a pattern update for this small Redwork quilt that I made way back when. It will be added to my shop where it will be at home with the embroidery patterns featured in my book--which are all now available as hot-iron transfers. So no tracing required.
And speaking of little things, my darling daughters have been busy creating all sorts of amazing miniatures which are sold at The Dainty House. I'm often just floored by the darling things they come up with, like these boxed chocolate bunnies. So cute!! I've already claimed the smaller white bunny in 1:12 scale for my own dollhouse, but if you want one, she just listed them today along with her other sweet creations in 12th Scale HERE and 6th Scale HERE.
Well, I've got to run along and get back to the business at hand, but before I sign out, I just want to say thank you again to everyone that stops by here and cheers us on. Times are difficult and life seems more uncertain than ever. With a heavy heart, I stepped out my backdoor a few days ago, looked up and saw a beautiful heavenly sky full of blazing colors. It lasted only a few seconds before it faded into dusk. As I stood in awe watching, I was reminded of the Creator's love for us. Ultimately, we are in His hands. Never lose hope and keep looking up.
