Out in my backyard, taking a break and just enjoying the blue skies and sunshine--and wildlife. The weather's been glorious here. Not our typical drippy Oregon April, that's for sure. I'm loving it!
It looks like guidelines for lifting the "lock-down" are being announced. That's a good sign. Somehow we will manage to get through this weird episode of life on planet earth and start picking up the pieces. I went downtown to mail packages and stopped at the market this morning for the first time in over a month. (I've had helpers doing this for me). It was a strange experience to say the least. The empty streets and sidewalks. Children's parks roped off with yellow tape. Scared faces behind masks. To be honest, it's a relief to be back home, where everything is more or less normal.
I don't remember where I found this yummy strawberry print, but I've just been admiring it in my scrap basket waiting for the right project to come along.
And I think I found it. This tea-towel design is an old favorite from Vogart. (Available as a reprinted iron-on transfer on my website here and in my Etsy shop here.)
I think these two make a happy pair. Will get busy on this and let you know how it turns out. In the meantime, hope you are finding time for a little creative joy too, as we wait out this situation together.
Oh, yes, that's a perfect pair! Such a cute image and such cute fabric. Love it!
I'll be so glad when this whole mess is behind us. Take care and enjoy your beautiful weather, Vicki! We're having some as well, yay!
