Kinda grumpy looking isn't she? LOL...
I walked out to the garden yesterday to check on the progress of the snow peas, and beheld this gorgeous thing. Swiss Chard that survived throughout the winter. With little else to rival it's glorious colors, it's an eye-catcher for sure.
And just look what we have over here. After three+ weeks, the snow peas are finally making their debut. Still keeping my fingers crossed. Jack Frost may still be lurking. He's been known to do that, as late as June (here in the northwest).
In the meantime, while I wait on the weather and the spring bloom, tulips are next in line, I'm reveling in bright spots of color wherever I can find them, outdoors and in. Inside, with 'Spring Cleaning' underway I'm finding all kinds of eye-popping stuff! Here are two examples (just added to my shop). I need to find my sunglasses.
Such lovely, delightful things. Love the little kitty!

More proud than grumpy! Thanks for the bright pretty things, garden posts, and wildlife update. It's snowing and cold here in the Midwest, and our tulips are sagging over with frost and high wind, so bright spots are welcome!

Oh dear, so sad to see flowers sag from snow and frost isn't it? I usually cut them and bring them in rather than let the weather ravage them. At least I can enjoy them a little while in a vase.
