Another clever idea from the Oregon Gardens.
It's HOT today. Everyone's gone up to the pool. I'm hiding out in the house with the shades drawn where it's nice and cool. We spent the day in Portland yesterday, cruising up and down the Willamette River, so I'm trying to stay out of the sun today. I took a bunch of pictures, will try and post a few when I can. Things are happening around here. The twenty-year-old deck out back is getting a make-over. The work began on Thursday. They still have a long way to go. I am relishing the peace and quiet of this Sunday afternoon very much right now!
Good for you for relishing the quiet and peace. It is a blessing.
Hot here...very south of you between Drain and Elkton, but it always cools off at night. I can hear the adolescent rooster practicing his cock-a-doodle-ooos. So funny.
Wishing you and loved ones a lovely week.

The underground feature reminds me of a Hobbit house. So cute! Sounds as if you will have river photos AND deck photos. A good before and after is always a joy in Blogdom.

My first thought was: what a fun hang out for kids. My second thought is why the kids. I would love to have one of those for my 50 year old self!!!
I do hope your peace continues.
