Took some pictures around the yard yesterday. This 'golden chain' is so pretty right now. I worry about this tree getting too big though, each year it seems to grow by leaps and bounds. A good trimming is definitely in order.
A promising blue sky above is a beautiful backdrop.
Here's a shrub I planted two years ago, is getting big too. I forget the name, but it has clusters of pink fragrant flowers. So much is in bloom right now. All lovely of course, but I've been sneezing like mad!
Very pretty both... I do particularly enjoy yellow and blue combinations so I'm partial to the golden chain, which I do not see around here.

The colors -- especially in the second picture -- are stunning.

That 2nd flower is called a "Beauty Bush". I have one too and put some photos of mine on my blog.. do you visit it? I also love Golden Chains but don't have one. Pretty things you have. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I'm envious of your golden chain. We've had two die on us. Going to try one more time.
