Before I even read your post I was thinking your porch looks so inviting and nice. Then your words spoke such a nice welcome. . . Lovely post for today. Thanks.

OOOOO MMMMM Gooooooooodness! When I opened your blog my eyes did a dance of happiness at the new look! Your porch looks like what I wish mine did. We never use our front porch so it's kind of empty and sad. We enter through the back door so that's where the "action" is. Wish I was your neighbor!!
((hugs)), Teresa :-)

It looks beautifully autumnal and very present. Your gorgeous summer header looked so dreamy. This one is in the here and now just as you sound. All the best with all the work!

I'm so glad you liked it, I am basking in the "autumn splendor" right now!

Thanks Teresa! I often dream of an entire neighborhood with my blog pals all living side by side--now wouldn't that be grand? Imagine the tea parties and quilting bees we could have!

I'm going to miss that summer header, it was one of my favorites. This one does look right in step with the season--I'm liking it more and more too.

I wish I could be there on your porch, enjoying the Fall. I imagine we would be talking about our gardens, canning, recipes and of corse sewing. Love your new digs.

vicki haninger

Oh me too! That would be lovely!

Love the new blog banner! I also wanted to let you know that I used an embroidery pattern from your book to embellish the leg of a pair of overalls for one of my dolls and it came out looking great! :)

Thanks Elizabeth, glad you like it. It feels very autumnal around here now! The doll and the outfit are SO lovely. I love seeing all the ways my book and designs are inspiring creativity.

Gosh, I wish I could leave a comment on your blog but for some reason I can't sign in--my comment disappears when I try and publish! (Is this happening to anyone else?)
