Under gray northwestern skies yesterday...we found Marionberries at the Red Barn Berry Farm just a few miles up the road. Oh boy, did we find them, acres and acres of them!
Lovely picking . . .and munching . . .the taste of sweet sunshine on the vine.
Back home. . . more munching--with cream and sugar.
And the jam-making continues. . .
These photos are stunning Vicki, and so capture the pleasures of the season. It's a beautiful combination.
I love Marionberries, but haven't seen any that are ripe here, as yet. I think it may be awhile, but that's ok. I still have some other jam making to do.

i did not know about marionberries--but they look lovely. we have raspberries, are they a variety?
