YEAH!!!! The poppy!! A couple of weeks ago when I went to Yosemite with my daughter I saw a lot of Poppy's!

Vee

Poppies here are almost red so I was surprised to read that they are usually yellowish-orange. I'd love to see an entire field of poppies, but must content myself with one or two in a garden. My quilt folder is really filling up and I've got to get going!

BS HONEY

Beautiful, sunshine flower, and you brought it to life for us. Thank you.

Bridgette

Perfect! They look just like the ones I used to grow.

I love California Poppies. Even though I'm a good ways east and north, the orangey-gold poppies reseed themselves year after year in my wildflower beds.

Really pretty embroidery work.

Gorgeous!!!

I love California Poppies. I am reminded when I was younger, we use to take day trips to the Poppy Reserve in Southern California and watch the hillsides glisten like gold. Just fantastic.
