Our garden tour continues! This isn't in my backyard, it's one of the features of Turtle Bay where we spent a little time Sunday, on a whirlwind sight-seeing tour. The butterfly house is a netted misty enclosure you can walk through. It's part of the Wings Of Summer exhibit that runs through September. A few of the species we spied:
"Julia"
"Monarch"
"Gulf Fritillary"
There's a chart on the site you can pull up as a PDF with more beauties. I've been using it to identify some of the butterflies I'm seeing now in our own backyard.
Out in the frontyard; day two of the hardscape project. So far, so good!
My goodnes Vicki, it is going to be beautiful when finished!!

This looks like it is going to be an amazing project to see finished. What a fortunate woman you are to live in such a beautiful place.
Thank you for sharing the butterfly pictures. They are very pretty.

My visits to your blog are always uplifting and enjoyable.
I know your landscaping project will turn out beautiful.
The butterflies are nature at it's best.
Embroidery first brought me here but your friendship in print keeps me coming back. I take joy from your words, pictures, and now "sweet surprises."
