I did some fun sewing and can't wait to show you another quilt I've been working on for fall. In fact, I hardly left my sewing room. Well, that's not entirely true. I did sneak off for a few hours for just a teensy-weensy peek over here.
OK, it was more than a peek. But can you blame me?
The old grange hall opens its doors a few times a year when Blackberry Junction comes to town. The place gets stacked to the rafters with all kinds of wonderful stuff. I really don't need anything in particular, it's just fun to poke around.
Collections are arranged by color and theme. This was one of the "white" corners. The groupings are fun to study in more detail from the photos I took. I am seeing things I missed while I was wandering around and gawking.
I am coming out of lurkdom to say, once again, how inspiring your blog is.
This sale looks like it was so fun. I wish I knew of things like this in central Indiana. But probably my husband and our bank account are happy I don't!

That looks like my kind of place. I was at the thrift store today, well I go at least once a week, I post the pictures on my site of all my good stuff, now it is good stuff, I don't care what anyone says. Today it was a whole bunch of dollhouse furinture, the old stuff. two dollars. etc, etc.
Wanted to tell you I started putting embroidery on a quilt I had made, I have three done so far. I loved the one you just finished. Which is why I just ordered a bunch of patterens from you a few days ago. I showed a picture of work in process of mine. Thank you so much for the great idea.
WOW this is a long post, are you still awake?

Oh boy, I would have gone crazy at a place like this. My husband always hates it when I find places like this! He gets nervous for our checkbook! But then, before you know it, he is off somewhere with an arm full of stuff! How fun that must have been!

Thanks for sharing! The photos are inspiring, looking forward to more. Glad you had a good birthday week. My husband laughed at your remark about all the shared birthdays.;)
Blessings,
Leslie

Lovely lovely things -- I can see how things might just happen to find their way into your basket. Love the white on white too -- just, not very practical at casa de la cornfields!

HI VICKI,
Most of the embroidery patterns I have are from you, but that is funny that your little turkey is right in the center of my new project.Didn't plan it that way, but glad he is there .
