Hello and welcome to my little corner of the crafty blogasphere. My name is Vicki Haninger and I blog about home*craft and everyday adventures from the heart of the valley in the Pacific Northwest.
Your quilt is really cute! I also love the picture of the deer. The wild life here consists of coyotes, quail (I love the quail)and some of my neighbors. LOL! Have a great day!
Oh, the does are back! We have does in the French Northern countryside, too. Well, not at the back of the garden, but in our favourite walk.
This is where my roots lie - not in Paris!
Your ladybug quilt is so sweet. Love the message, the way it does invite our own eye to "fly" from square to square.
I "hearted" a few of your quilts - I love to gaze at them. Hopefully some day I'll save up enough to own one. (After the "thing" for which I'm saving right now is over!)
That is so cute! How do you get your lettering so typewriter like? I tried to embroider words the other day and they looked awful. I need to keep practicing I guess and maybe someday I'll be as good as you!

Oh, I have been so busy sewing dolls and quilts that I haven't been visiting and then I come to see and WOW! You have been so very busy too! I know you had a happy Easter and the quilts, deer and flowers from your garden are all lovely! Happy Spring! Happy Everything!
Your new quilt is absolutely precious!

Can you share more about how you embroider your letters? Do you print it from the computer and then use a transfer pen or something?

I love your little quilts. The colours on this one are so sweet. My little three year old was very taken by the "pretty eggs".
