I can hardly believe that it was a year ago this month, that we launched the PatternBee website! When I began making a few of my collectible patterns available on ebay six years ago, I had no idea that this would grow into the business it has become. It was so unexpected. It's also been a wonderful experience connecting with others who also share a love for vintage needlework. I can't tell you how many folks have written to tell me about an old pattern they discovered on the website that they'd lost, or had remembered from childhood, or wanted to make again for a grandchild. Or the number of people that have sent me their old patterns to be restored and shared. Or sent pictures of the things they've made using the patterns. Even so, I still consider this just a hobby, a labor of love, and for now I'll continue to make my patterns available for those who seek them out. I have no big plans beyond that. I'm content with what it is and enjoy the opportunity to share this with others who are on the same "sentimental journey". Thanks everyone (and you know who you are) that continue to support and contribute to this project. I really do appreciate all you "stitching friends" out there!
Happy anniversary!
I makes me happy just knowing that there are people who love cultural heritage as much as you do.
Thanks for the adorable pattern.

I made the little lamb this afternoon as my reward for cleaning the house. I didn't have any wool felt of the right color and my stash was buried under a pile, so I used some old white towels I had laying around. I was afraid they might be too thick, but she turned out perfectly adorable. Thank you so much for the pattern!

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday and thank you so much for giving away the free pattern. I loved the lamb the first time I saw it. Also you have inspired me in many ways especially with my old blankets. Thank you so much.

Thanks so much for the lamb pattern - the rest of the animals look really really sweet, too. I'd love to make one of those ducks - I'd be willing to use the pattern to put into a usable format if you'd like to post the others as well, contact me if you're interested.

Just wanted to show you my little lambkin. I made it the same day I printed the pattern from my computer, the ink was hardly dry!!
Thanks again and I hope to be able to make some of the other animals as well!

Hi Vicki,
I love the little lamb and I hope to find some time soon to make one! Thanks!
I write a weekly craft article for homeschoolblogger and I was wondering if I could link your post and also use your lamb picture. I honestly am not quite sure what is OK as far as using people's pics if you are linking to their posts and tutorials. If you have any info on this I would appreciate it!
Thanks again!

I'll add my Happy Anniversary! I've never really been tempted by any of the other free patterns on the internet, but I have printed this out and can't wait to make it... my parents are sheep farmers so I'm sure I'll make more than one! But at the moment I've a few custom purse orders on the go so am not sure when I'll be able to get to this sweet lamb.
Congrats again! You offer me so much fun inspiration, love your blog.

hi! i just found your generous offer of the free lambkin pattern--so cute, i can't wait to make one! i was hoping you would also share with me your source for the tiny orange fabric flowers you have around the neck of one of the lambs on the actual page with the pattern. i used to have quite a stash of these in pastel colors that i had had forever, and now the only ones i've been able to find are white.
love your wonderful blog--it's an oasis!
thanks so much,
maggie
