Yesterday our crazy squirrel friend paid a visit. He seemed particularly fond of the kid's snowman. Then we realized why. I'd scattered bird seed across the deck the night before because the bird feeders were almost empty and I figured this would suffice until morning, however I was not counting on snow. Anyway, the snow was scooped up off the deck and sculpted, birdseed and all. Didn't even think about it. So throughout the day, the squirrel, and the birds, were nibbling and pecking away at this guy. If you didn't know about the birdseed, you might think the squirrel was the one building a snowman from this picture!
My daughter and I are laughing at that squirrel friend of yours. You have to submit that to cute overload.

I've been a lurker for a few weeks, but your experience with the door-to-door evangelists just made me speak up. Because that happened to me yesterday, too, just as I finally got both kids - yes, *both!* to take a nap. At the same time! So when that doorbell rang, and the kiddies stirred, well, let's just say I was irked.
Your handmade treasures are absolutely amazing. Blanket statement is a great idea, and all your projects are so well executed. I was drooling over that bag you made for your friend! Thanks for sharing all the loveliness.

Too, too cute! That would be a great pic for Too Cute Overload (I peek in there whenever I need a pick-me-up, but today I didn't have to - your blog did the trick!)
We're getting that white stuff even here in not-so-sunny California; though ours isn't sticking around on the ground long; it can't make up it's mind whether to snow or rain or hail (I swore a couple of times today it seemed to be doing all three at once, it switched back & forth so quickly!)
