It's from Tiny Patchworks (ISBN4-529-03898-X) and it's chock-full of wonderful things. I've been drooling over this book since last fall. Just pulled this up to gaze at it. Would you just look at those tiny stitches along the rim of the cup!
This book (ISBN 4-89396-838-6) was a more recent purchase and also has some fantastic ideas. I'm quite smitten with these bags.
And check out this pen case from ZAKKA (ISBN4-579-10967-8)
That little teacup had me gasping!!! That bag with the buttons...ummm hmmmm..a must make soon!!! Love it lots!
Thanks for the show and tell..

Love, love, love your blog. Thanks for all the helpful links and just plain wonderful stuff to look at during coffee.
Check me out if you have time. I'm a new knitter and old, old crafter in need of a serious jump start.

Is there somewhere in town where you peruse Japanese craft books, or do you do it all online? I love them too, but really feel the need to have them in my hands before deciding which to buy.
By the way, I finally got around to putting up a craft blog for myself (as you will see through the link) -- what an ordeal! A CSS coder I will never be. And it still needs some tweaking. But I'm very happy to have somewhere to put my stuff finally.

Oh my gosh, I would love to see more of the book that teacup pincushion came from. It is just about the sweetest thing I've ever seen! How do Japanese craft books have so many ideas that I love? Thanks so much for sharing these.
Blair, I'll be posting a few more pictures from this book in the future, but in the meantime you can follow links on Crafting Japanese http://www.craftlog.org/craftingjapanese/ to view more images.

Hey crafty girl! Awesome stuff on your site! And thanks for the words of support about my sewing machine purchase. I have had it two days and have yet to test drive it --but I look at it a lot! I am opening a quilting studio (where I will sew, design and long-arm)--my partner and I signed the lease today...and hope to be set up by the end of February. Happy crafting.
