There's been minimal crafting and sewing this past week as I get back on top of laundry, housework, and cooking again. A cold snap has us pulling on our sweaters and jeans and warm socks. I've been busy, but really don't have a lot to show for it, creatively speaking anyway. Except for this sweet-smelling bowl of autumn potpourri in the hall. A blend of cinnamon and citrus--quite lovely!
I love the slippers!

I know just what you mean about getting the ironing and such... done up. I had to do just that last week and oh boy, I was so proud of myself...I was beaming! You did a good job on your dining room chairs. They look good. The slippers are so fun, I'd wear them all day long. Isn't it amazing what great ideas are coming and going? All we have to do is latch on to one now and then to have a happier 'me'. Lets do it!

mmmm...I can smell the potpourri from here.
Love your slip covers, so simple. I really like simple :)

You're inspiring me again - our dining chairs are in desperate need of slipcovering! Yours turned out looking very elegant - though I like the idea of a pocket on the back...it could be used so many different ways. How fun!

Love what you have done with the dining set! I'm so glad that the fall is finally upon us. You've inspired me with your great looking potpourri and I love those slippers! Just right for the colder weather.
