A birthday present from the Mister. We live in a bicycle friendly community with miles of trails and paths and have been going out on the weekends exploring new places. I needed a light-weight, easy-to-access camera bag to wear on our bicycling ventures and made this one from a (new) cotton striped dish towel. It's lined with pretty fabric and padded with quilt-batting. The shoulder-strap is long enough to wear across my body so it doesn't slip off when I'm on my bike. The buttons are sewn on to reinforce the strap. I can just slip it off and drop the whole thing right into my purse.
I'm ready to roll.
Very cute camera bag Vicki! I love the simplicity too. That bike sounds wonderful! :)

amazing photos and a great idea for a bag! I broke the strap on my camera that other day and was complaining about how hard it was to carry...now I know what I can do!!
I love the idea of a bike like that!

I love the words: "...designed for pleasure riding and not racing", nice to keep in mind. We also live in a bicycle friendly community here in Örebro, Sweden. I ride my bike daily all the year round; it gives me both joy and health.
