I finally snuck back into my sewing room last night and started on this summer blouse before summer is over. Got it all cut out and started stitching and then company arrived. Lily is not much of a lap-lover, but wherever I put my feet, she will plant herself underneath them and won't budge an inch, no matter how much I fuss and nudge. She's like a warm fluffy footstool. Silly girl.
Oh, what a cute photo! And what a beautiful kitty you have! And your redwork piece is so pretty. I haven't done any redwork in a while so will have to plan on some for the near future.

Hi Vicki.
I love the picture with Lily seeming sooo comfortable! My husband and I have four cats and two dogs and they LOVE 'helping' me with my sewing every single time I'm doing it!
When I embroider the older cats have learned to leave 'mama' alone but the youngest, Cosby hasn't got that down yet and still loves to curl up and help sew or tangle depending on who your asking. Lol. Kathie

Love the Cath Kidston-style shelves - how long will they stay that neat and tidy? The redwork is lovely - are you going to do something with it? Or is it just there for the very pertinent message?

Those shelves will NOT remain neat and tidy for long, which is precisely why I snapped a photo of them before I dug back into my sewing and crafting. I'd intended to make a pillow for my bed with the redwork piece. I may get back to it eventually!
