Dolly Sweets

Pcb2
Someone’s in the kitchen baking up a storm.  (I think I smell those heavenly poppy-seed banana muffins again this morning.)  There’s been some serious candy-making happening in the doll house bakery kitchen too.  Grace was back in her craft corner, following a brief intermission of driving lessons (eek!), starting up a Celtic band with friends (woot!), planting a vegetable garden (yum!), and ya know, just generally being a busy teenager.  So I was quite surprised when I saw these dainty boxes of petite confection a few days ago. Oh my.  Even the darling teeny boxes and tissue flower roses are handmade.  Gasp!  The sad thing though--the supply is limited.  These do take quite a bit of time to make, and she says there might be a few more to come, but no promises. So if you need a little candy box, badly, you’d better scurry over to her shop without delay.

Oh, too sweet.

Such a hand made treasure.

That teaches me to step out for a whole day. We went on a nature hike but I did get a couple of Graces new box candies. I am giving these to my good friends in my Tasha Tudor Annabelle Doll Club--they are going to love 'em!

Oooo they are super cute, what a clever one she is :)

All your miniatures are amazing! What patience you must have!

These are just about the sweetest little things I have ever seen! Just lovely!...Such talent!...heidi :)

They look so yummy! I love all the pretty details and the paper rose is the perfect touch!

A-Z Quiche

  • new year's "brunch cups"
I'm attempting to make a quiche for each letter of the alphabet. Since I often get requests for recipes, I'll be compiling everything here for easy reference. This album will also serve to keep me on track. Feel free to try out the recipes and cook along with me! The idea for this was initially blogged here: http://turkeyfeathers.typepad.com/turkey_feathers/2006/10/quiche_love.html
