This pretty little princess held her head up today despite rain, snow, sleet, and hail. We should all be so brave! The sun also showed its glowing face inbetween all this crazy weather, allowing me just enough time to slip outside and take her picture.
Nearby, a fading star demanded equal time. "I'm ready for my close-up Mr. Demille."
Her fans waved enthusiastically.
Still, some were less impressed.

A beautiful sign of spring...Are those daffodils, jonquils? My grandfather had rows upon rows of these in his garden.
lovely flowers- thank you for the color. Love that rabbit- we spied one the other day but he took off before I could get a shot. I am still not right from the time change, either- wanting to sleep in and Fred is up at 6! ugh! Its 11:15 and he is still at work...sad, really, no way to live. I just picked up Kaffe Fassett's quilt road and am gonna go hop in bed and read it until he comes home or I fall asleep, whichever comes first. xxxooo kim
Your daffodils are gorgeous :) Spring is here too, though I have to get right down on the ground to see it. The neighbors must think I'm crazy lately, crawling about on my hands and knees with my camera!
Spring!!!...although it doesn't completely feel like it here in the NW but the cherry blossoms, hyacinths, daffs and even some budding tulips are making their presence known.
I'm attempting to make a quiche for each letter of the alphabet. Since I often get requests for recipes, I'll be compiling everything here for easy reference. This album will also serve to keep me on track. Feel free to try out the recipes and cook along with me!
The idea for this was initially blogged here:
http://turkeyfeathers.typepad.com/turkey_feathers/2006/10/quiche_love.html
a collection of things made from a vintage wool blanket found at a thrift shop.
i'm challenging myself to come up with as many different ideas as I can think of.
new items will be added randomly as they are created.

I'm so excited that spring is peaking it's head out of the ground. Today we had about 2" of snow...my poor tulips weren't sure what to do.

I needed to see these! We had so much snow last night, schools in the area were closed or delayed.
