Shuffling Along

100_3342 More Redwork and another dish towel!  I love this cute design.  It reminds me of an old fashioned Valentine; also works for all-around kitchen cuteness too.  It's part of the new free-with-purchase transfer sheet for March that I just added to the PatternBee website.  I always have fun putting these bonus patterns together.  They're usually a combination of vintage designs with a few of my own sprinkled in.  Nice to dig through the odds and ends and find little treasures like this.  I'm 100_3346 also happy to let you know that the very first set of Bonus Designs for 2007 are available now for all of you who've been asking and waiting for them.  You have the option of purchasing the whole package or just the ones you want or missed.  They come with a pretty envelope too whether you buy only one or more.  I'm still working on getting more new (old) patterns finished.  They trickle in through the mail and I've had a stack of them sitting on my table for quite awhile and finally got around to a few of them this weekend.  So, they'll be popping up in New Additions soon, and in the mailboxes of some of those who shared their patterns for make-overs.

100_3365 On another note:  to everyone who stopped by and left a comment and a song--Thank You!  It made my day!  I recognized most of the songs mentioned, others I can't wait to check out.  Most of my morning has been spent reading them and following links to your blogs; totally lost all track of time.  It's so easy to fall down the rabbit hole isn't it?  Just got completely absorbed in your stories, pictures, crafts, cooking, decorating projects, and other fun stuff.  There's so much crafty goodness out there, makes my head spin.  I really need to get moving here now though, so without further a-do...love saying that...the Super Shuffler Spinning Bonnet (our own personal random numbers generator) has chosen a winner for the little pink bunny doll quilt!  Congratulations tinker(I'll be in touch!)

Hooray!!! I am so excited - I had to drag the mister over to the computer to see what I won, lol. Thank you so very much, Vicki - you totally made my day!

As always, LOVE your redwork and all your crafty goodies. You're the best, sweetie~xOxOxOx

Oh,the little birds are so so sweet!!!and i love the red and yellow together. i'd love to see that towel in your etsy!yep...sure would.

How cute, I am going to have to try this Redwork. I have never done it before.

You have begun a new obsession with me. I want to do some redwork so badly! I'll have to place an order soon.

The towel is so darn cute...I embroider a lot of bluebirds, my current obsession :), but now I want to make a towel just like yours with red birds...I'm heading over to the shop.

The towel and the quilt are charming Vicki, and I like your baby bonnets. I had a Thumblelina when I was small too. She was my favorite.

I've dropped by for the link to the moon dance song again! I forgot to bookmark it.

Thanks!

Love the little quilt. Its so perky and cute.

Owww.... that dishtowel is sóóó sweet! Thank you so much for the free pattern, it's lovely! I've never made a redwork before, but one day......!

I've never done redwork and I love the look of it. I think you've given me the nudge to get started.
Thanks for sharing,
Joni

I love all the beautiful work that you do. Your blog is one of my absolute favorites!

I really enjoy reading your blog and all the pretty things you make. It is very inspirational. I am new to redwork. I would love to try. Do you design the lovely patterns?

Love your redwork! My last redwork project was Hawaiian redwork, each a 10" block. I was about halfway done with the blocks and moved. You know what I'm going to say---- I lost them somehow! I hate it when stuff like that happens!!!

Oh, I love these transfers!!! How simple yet delightful. Thank you.

Tammy

A-Z Quiche

  • new year's "brunch cups"
I'm attempting to make a quiche for each letter of the alphabet. Since I often get requests for recipes, I'll be compiling everything here for easy reference. This album will also serve to keep me on track. Feel free to try out the recipes and cook along with me! The idea for this was initially blogged here: http://turkeyfeathers.typepad.com/turkey_feathers/2006/10/quiche_love.html
