Aw shucks, and we were having so much fun too.  Well, it's all over for another year.  Time to tidy up.

And I wish you joy and peace as well.
Love from the heart,
Dawn xo

We have just started our Christmas celebrations here and still has 8 days to go :-)

Happy cleaning.

Vickie, Same to you!! My decorations are history!!!

I love your drawer of cookie cutters. I had one too and my girls would pick out their favorites. This year they picked out their favorites to take home with them to their own houses. I'm so happy they want them because I love traditions being passed down.

It's nice to see you cleaning up after Christmas... we leave ours in place for another month. I just can't bear to put all the memories away. This year I'm photographing each special ornament individually and I'll add the history of each to it's picture and put them in small 6x6 albums for the girls for next year.
Post holiday hugs.
Joni

I wish you all the best too!!
I am so glad to have found you and your little world in 2007 and are looking forward to new great Ideas, Inspirations and experiences!

Kisses from Holland and Aina :)

I love the post Christmas clean-up, as much as the decorating before Christmas... all fresh for the New Year! May your New Year be as light, bright and inspired as your Turkey Feathers!

Thank you for your visit to my blog and for the great comments.
In our family we are still celebrating until the 6th of January...I keep all the decorations in place until...the 13th day...as we call it in my home country, Iceland.
We have many of the same traditions as Britt-Arnhilds country, Norway.
I look forward to many more visits to your blog...thanks again.

Wishing you a happy and blessed New Year!! :)

Best wishes to you for an awesome 2008 as well. Nice to see some clean dishes. Wish my sink was empty right now!

Best wishes to you and yours for the new year as well!

Same to you Vicki!
As much as I love Christmas, I really can't wait to clean it all up too.

I popped in here as my house is in shreds..hovering in that space between Christmas and normal. I've got bins, and bags and all the "day to day" decorations to put back in place (if I could remember where it all went--they've been gone since the fall stuff went up in September-lol) and seeing your tidy bubbles inspires me, as your site always does. I wish you all a wonderful 2008. As much as I love the holidays, I am so glad to sweep it all clean and start fresh. January is always a big re-organizing month for me and I've come to embrace that instead of dreading it. I wish you "tidy-ings of great joy!" too!

Happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas Vicki! I'm really enjoying my Redwork Christmas Patterns . . . . . maybe I'll have them ready for next year???! Happy New Year to you & yours :) Patrice

A-Z Quiche

  • new year's "brunch cups"
I'm attempting to make a quiche for each letter of the alphabet. Since I often get requests for recipes, I'll be compiling everything here for easy reference. This album will also serve to keep me on track. Feel free to try out the recipes and cook along with me! The idea for this was initially blogged here: http://turkeyfeathers.typepad.com/turkey_feathers/2006/10/quiche_love.html

Blanket Statement
