It's time to send out *HAPPY BIRTHDAY* wishes to our dear daughter who is off scuba diving and sight-seeing in Vietnam with friends today.  Wishing you all the best where ever you may roam!
(Don't worry, we'll happily eat a few cupcakes for you.)

Those are gorgeous! Yum!

Let me guess--tinted coconut? They are so pretty!

Happy birthday to your daughter--she is certainly celebrating in a really big way. The cupcakes make me hungry--they are so pretty and yummy looking.

Oh those cupcakes look divine! A happy birthday to your daughter!

Oh, they look nice.

Fantastic cupcakes! The colors in this photo are amazing.

Happy Birthday to your daughter. May she have happy and safe travels.

Happy b-day to your daughter -- what an adventure to have for your birthday! And those cupcakes, I would be eating several!

Wow, they are so beautiful! Birth-days are so special! They look delicious and too pretty to eat!

Gorgeous cupcakes!!!

THANKS EVERYONE!....btw "the pink" stuff is icing that didn't quite come out like it was supposed to. Grace is learning to use the piping bag and this was the result of early attempts. I actually like the ruffled look! (And they tasted great too, so it was all good.)

How fantastic. I had the best time in Vietnam...I'm sure she'll love it.

WOW! Great cupcakes! Hope your daughter is Happy and Well! xo natalea

A-Z Quiche

  • new year's "brunch cups"
I'm attempting to make a quiche for each letter of the alphabet. Since I often get requests for recipes, I'll be compiling everything here for easy reference. This album will also serve to keep me on track. Feel free to try out the recipes and cook along with me! The idea for this was initially blogged here: http://turkeyfeathers.typepad.com/turkey_feathers/2006/10/quiche_love.html

Blanket Statement

  • Baby's Spring Slippers
a collection of things made from a vintage wool blanket found at a thrift shop. i'm challenging myself to come up with as many different ideas as I can think of. new items will be added randomly as they are created.
