Just finished up the lunch dishes and have a few minutes to chat before I fly out of my chair again. I've been busy as a buzzin' bee the past few days, but not too busy to drop what I'm doing (like, just about every 3 minutes!) to read thru the comments on the doll quilt give-away post. Wow. I was, um, VERY surprised by the response. VERY! And slightly embarrassed. My bonnet runneth over! I'm thrilled so many of you have thrown your names into the hat. "The more the merrier", as they say. It's also been quite wonderful to hear from old blog pals again, and to meet new ones near and far. Goodness gracious, the blogasphere has sure grown since I began this blog back in the spring of 2005. I can't believe it's been that long, but it has, and what better way to celebrate a milestone than to throw a virtual party with a real prize, no? OK then.
To make the selection process easier, Grace (true to her word) got right to work on this program, which is basically, a random numbers generator of her own design. It's the sweetest thing! (How she figured this out is way beyond me...I just make little quilts afterall.) So, all I have to do is enter a number and the bonnet spins wildly around, and a random number pops up.
How this will work: The comment section for the give-away will be open until noon (PST) on Saturday, (March 31). Then we'll count up and enter the total number of comments in the SUPER SHUFFLER. (This is just a picture of it, the real one works.) The winning number will be matched with its commentor. Duplicate and additional comments will be edited out beforehand, so please leave just one comment. The winner will be announced here at noon (PST) Sunday, (April 1) along with a picture of the doll quilt won.

So that's it for now. I have to get back to my little quilts....I still haven't chosen one for the grand prize yet. I'm having serious separation anxiety issues with them at the moment. In the meantime, feast your eyes on other's doll quilts here and here , and take a gander at these adorable two I just added to my website gallery here, from Julie. They seem to be popping up like spring bulbs!
