Sights of the Season

Outside view from the kitchen window this morning.   I could just sit and stare at the gorgeous colors that emerge this time of year.  A light rainfall didn't bother the yearlings, whose golden hides have already turned dark in preparation for the colder weather.

Inside view of our festive display that changes daily.  Ghosties and Pumpkin Peeps from last year.  The cute banner letters are compliments of Jenny.  Grace printed them out on card stock for me.  We had friends over today, and sat around the kitchen table sipping hot coffee and cutting out several of these banners in different sizes.  This was one of the smaller ones.  Love how they turned out!

And the bottom half of the buffet.  This is the one I was talking about finding at the grange sale last week, that matched my dining table.  I removed the middle drawers to line them, and found that I really liked the space in the middle for display.   I'm still playing around with it.  Great to have another surface for seasonal decorations.
