Matching Bag

Mb4 If this bag looks familiar it's because it was made in the same image as this one I'd made for Grace, but with a different color palette.  It went to one of her sweet pals who had a birthday last week.  (She sometimes peeks at my blog so I couldn't show it off until now without spoiling the surprise.)  I used all the same details, including rick-rack and another of those fabulous buttons Mb5 from LK.   I had a bit of fabric left and made a matching tissue holder too.   She really loved it, and that made me so happy!

Love the whole bag! the colours and the patterns are splendid!

Man I am envious. Loving the colors and the design. Bravo!

Way cuteing me out!
All you need is an orange bangle bracelet and you are super chic!
Where did you find the fabric?
Did I say??? LOVE IT!!!!

Gorgeous! May I ask what you use as an interfacing? The bags have great body and shape to them. Do you use something as thick as timtex or just a very stiff interfacing? I've used fusible fleece on bags that I quilted, but am not sure it would hold up without the quilting. Wondering if you interfaced between those twill tape handles as well. Again, job well done!

Love the bag - LOVE IT! Those Amy Butler coordinating fabrics are just lovely. Will you share? What is that braided stuff you use for the button strap? And what do you use for the handles?

Beautiful Vicki! Hey, this qualifies for 'blue tuesday'. Cute pic. of the girls too!

What a great bag. Very practical style too, sure to get a lot of use!

Oh, it's beautiful. I especially like the flower fabric.

So over on your flickr you have some garden photos -- where is that? Where is the bridge?

Oh, and -- I would LOVE to have you come over and brainstorm with me about our garden. It is a mess and I feel completely overwhelmed. Just to have somebody to talk to I think would help a lot.

Beautiful bag!! I love the design and the colors. What a great gift!

A-Z Quiche

  • new year's "brunch cups"
I'm attempting to make a quiche for each letter of the alphabet. Since I often get requests for recipes, I'll be compiling everything here for easy reference. This album will also serve to keep me on track. Feel free to try out the recipes and cook along with me! The idea for this was initially blogged here: http://turkeyfeathers.typepad.com/turkey_feathers/2006/10/quiche_love.html
