Heartfelt Mary Janes

Another little project from the wool blanket, stitched up just for the fun of it. Of coarse, now I need to make a doll to put them on. Inspiration for these came from a library copy of The Felt Book (ISBN: 0806908645--1994-oop) by Clare Beaton. See more of her talents here.

Oh Vicki, I'm so in love with these Mary Janes ! I'm impatient to see the doll you're going to make ;o) !! Cheers

Those doll shoes are just lovely! I'd like to make a pair for a real baby. So cute. You sure do get some mileage from the wool blanket. Once it is all cut up and gone you should put everything you've made together and take a nice before and after photo!

Oh yum! My husband (who is a fabulous cook) makes a wonderful cream of potato soup. Your soup sounds easy and wonderful. If I had leeks, I'd be making it today. But unfortunately (actually I am not all that disappointed) I am stuck at home due to 12 hours of freezing rain (my driveway is a skating rink and the school buses are all cancelled) so can't go to get the ingrediants for this. But I have filed it away and it's on my "to cook" list for sure!

I want to make a pair for my daughter, are they hard to do?
And I love meals with leeks in them. I'll try this recipe tomorrow.
